Driving to work today I was listening to KLove. They were talking about "getting mad". MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
Simple gestures can make a big impact on someone's life. You never know what their day is like and that a small act of kindness may be what they need.
These are some of my thoughts.
*Slow down and allow a car to move into your lane.
*Offer to help someone put their groceries in their car trunk.
*Hold the door for someone. Allow them to go through first.
*Ask someone how their day is - not simply "how are you?" You may get the opportunity to be a witness.
*Send out a text message to all of your friends telling them how much you love and appreciate them.
*Write a thank you note to someone who has been there for you in the past.
*Pump someone's gas.
*Stop by a Nursing Home and just visit for a few minutes.
*Prepare some extra food at dinner and take a plate to someone that may need a good meal or just a night off from cooking.
*Take someone's children to the park - give a mom a break.
Ok - those are some of the things I want to try. How about it? Do I have any takers? Leave me your suggestions.
Let's get MAD together.
Love you all,
